Welcome to my small corner on the web! I have been licensed since 1992. In 2002 I upgraded to General and then to Extra in 2004. I have held several different callsigns: KD4MJM, N4CPT, and AI4FS.

My current interests in amateur radio include DX Chasing, PSK31, and I am re-learning morse code with the hopes of actually using it proficiently. PSK31 is my newest venture and I have become quite intrigued with it. As an IT professional, I find it interesting to combine 2 of my major interests.

Other interests include firearms and gardening. I am a strong supporter of my right to bear arms and enjoy shooting all kinds of firearms. I shoot mostly at Black Creek Shooter's Association in Hanover County, VA. As for gardening, I grow my own vegetables for me and my family during the summer months (as well as some greens during the fall). I always grow more than I need, so friends and family tend to get their fair share.

Computers are my livelihood. I work as an IT administrator for a law enforcement agency. Most of my duties involve network administration, application support, and help desk. I have also been known to dabble in Visual Basic .Net programming and electronic security equipment.
